📱 VOTER HELPLINE APP — COMPLETE PROCEDURE (Step by Step)
The Voter Helpline App is the easiest way to check your voter status, file appeals, and download electoral roll. It works even when the website is slow or not showing correctly.
🔹 STEP 1: Install the App
Open Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iPhone).
Search for "Voter Helpline" — look for the app developed by Election Commission of India. The app icon has a white ballot box on a blue background.
Install the app and open it. No login is required for basic search features.
🔹 STEP 2: Check Your Voter Status (Deleted / Under Adjudication)
On the home screen, tap on "Electoral Search".
You will see two options: Search by EPIC Number OR Search by Name/Date of Birth.
Enter your EPIC Number (Voter ID card number).
Example: WB/01/123/456789
Tap "Search".
Your details will appear with status: "Approved" (active voter), "Deleted" (name removed), or "Under Adjudication" (under judicial review).
🔹 STEP 3: File Appeal if Name is Deleted
Go back to home screen → Tap on "File Appeal" or "Form 6".
Select "Application for inclusion of name in electoral roll".
Fill in your details: Name, Age, Address, EPIC number (if available), Date of Birth.
Upload documents: Aadhaar card, Address proof (electricity bill/ration card/passport), Photo.
Submit the form.
You will receive an acknowledgement number. Save it for future reference.
🔹 STEP 4: Download Electoral Roll (PDF)
On home screen → Tap on "Download Electoral Roll".
Select State: West Bengal → Select District → Select Assembly Constituency.
Tap "Download".
The electoral roll will be saved as PDF on your phone. You can search for your name within the PDF.
🔹 STEP 5: Track Your Appeal Status
On home screen → Tap on "Track Application".
Enter your acknowledgement number to check the status of your appeal.
• If you don't have an EPIC number, use Search by Name/DOB option.
• The app works offline for downloaded electoral rolls.

60 lakh+ voters were placed under adjudication due to "logical discrepancies" during SIR. Names marked as "Under Adjudication" or "Deleted" appear in the electoral roll with these labels.
